Book Review — And there were none by Agatha Christie
My first Agatha Christie. I simply can't believe I haven't read a single Christie book till date. I can blame that on my fear of being disappointed. I was anxious that it might not live upto the hype.

But, now I can say it's well worth the hype for sure, especially considering the period these books were written in.

5 ⭐s for writing. Her accessible writing style was one of the best parts of the book.

4.5 ⭐s for pacing & story length. At 317 pages this story was neither too long nor too short! It was the perfect length for me.

4 ⭐s for story. The premise becomes a tad repetitive & slightly boring because at one point you stop caring about the deaths & be like "Yes, all of them die, can we solve the mystery already?"

3 ⭐s for the ending. This ties back to my previous point. There is so much focus on the murders per se, that the climax seems too short & anti-climactic. I would have liked the murders to be shorter & the mystery resolution to be longer. But then who am I to judge the legend of thrillers?

Overall an interesting, unique & a decent read. Will I pick up more AC books? Maybe, let's see. They all seem to be pretty short & quick reads so, possibly Yes!
